I first picked up a camera seriously in early 2008.  Nothing super fancy, but I was lucky enough to have some friends

who enabled me to combine my passion of the local live music scene and new found love of photograpy; later that year,

I started Feedback Photography.  I haven't done much else since!

 

I first started by contributing to FasterLouder, but after a sojourn to Byron Bay Bluesfest, I was able to meet with the

editorial staff of The AU Review; almost two years later, I've taken photos, written reviews and opinion pieces, conducted

interviews, directed video, and helped shape the annual book release Australia's Year In Music.  I'm also now the State

Editor for Queensland, overseeing a small team and organizing coverage from the best that Brisbane has to offer.

 

For The AU Review, I cover the biggest and best music festivals (previously: Big Day Out, Soundwave, Harvest Festival,

Mucho-Bravado's Track And Field, Sunset Sounds, and a few more I'm sure I've forgotten), local and international touring

acts, and I now make what is an annual pilgrimage to the United States of America for SXSW (South by Southwest) in Texas.

I've also embarked on tour, where I filmed local Brisbane band DZ Deathrays when they supported Children Collide in late

2011.  Videography has recently become a large evolution of Feedback Photography; I'd recommend watching this space

very closely for updates.
